ABOUT ME
For the past 13 years I’ve been immersed in the captivating world of FX simulation for feature films. My VFX journey began in 2011 when I interned in the FX Department of MPC London shortly after graduating from the University of Portsmouth with a BSc in Computer Animation. During this time I had the opportunity to work on my first feature film, Disney’s John Carter, creating blood and dust simulations using Maya and integrated proprietary FX tools. I honed my skills in these tools over the next several years at the company, contributing to a number of feature film projects and steadily climbing the ranks, until reaching a senior position in 2015 when I transferred to MPC Vancouver.

In 2016 I embarked on a new chapter at Weta Digital in New Zealand, witnessing the evolution of their FX department as it moved away from a Maya centric pipeline and committed to embracing Houdini and all it has to offer. I eagerly seized the opportunity to undergo Houdini training, ultimately transitioning to this powerful tool. For the past eight years I have used Houdini exclusively across numerous projects, at various VFX studios, to passionately crafted awe-inspiring effects, propelled by my unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation.
